Early this year, Gale continued to develop his Commercial Audition skills by attending a Master Class and 4 Solo Training sessions with Casting Director/Trainer Chris Game. Chris' unique" Tool Belt" Acting Skillsets has proven to be a valuable asset in the commercials Gale has been competing for throughout January and February.

IMPROV APPEARS TO BE NEW NORMAL FOR COMMERCIAL AUDITIONS

Gale is finding that about 80% of the auditions he books are 100% Improv, usually with a group explanation, and no formal copy. Improv training has become as important as formal Commercial Audition training in Gale's opinion.

AGENT CHANGE

Gale was informed that Nick Hines left Brass Artists in April, and subsequently met with Randy Cabrera, a partner in Brass to solidify his relationship with Randy as his primary agent going forward.

MORE TRAINING

Gale completed a four week course in Commercial Improv with Killian McHugh in March, and followed this with Killian's Commercial Intro Class in April.
He is taking advantage of Killian's "Workouts" on Sunday afternoons to hone his audition skills inbetween classes.
He will be attending Killian Call-Back Class in June of 2011 to continue his training in Commercial Audition on a higher level.

CONTINUING STUDY WITH DON BLOOMFIELD

After surviving minor surgery to his right knee, Gale began Scene Study classes with Don Bloomfield in January. Don is a master that studied under Sandy Meisner himself. Gale finds it some of the most intense and invirgorating study imaginable.
